About Me

My name is Jennifer Gawor and I am TIG's newest Educational Assistant for the Sprout e-course program.

I am originally from Scarborough, ON, but I've lived and studied in various places all over the globe.

My education includes a Master's degree in Urban & Regional Planning from Queen's University, a BA in City Studies & Human Geography from UofT, and a military school background. These experiences have given me a great platform on which to pursue my real passions- to engage and involve youth in higher-level decision-making within cities, and to encourage stewardship and leadership among all youth.

Before coming to TIG I was as a Social Enterprise & Innovation Coordinator in Kingston ON, working to found Kingston's first Social Enterprise Centre (Social Enterprise & Innovation Kingston, SEIK).
